Apr 13, 2018Candace Hoover Fain, 52 of Lynnhaven Park Drive, passed away on April 4, 2018. She was born on November 20, 1965 to parents, Frank and Rachel Hoover. Candace loved life and lived to help others in need. Proceeding Candace in death is her mother, Rachel Hoover; beloved husband, Richard Fain; and brother, Scott Hoover. Left to cherish Candace's her memory is her father, Frank Hoover of Winston-Salem; brothers, Robert Hoover (Kim) of Winston-Salem and Jeff Hoover of Winston-Salem; sister in-law, Christy Baker (Joey) of Winston-Salem; nieces & nephews: Daniel Hoover (Kelly), Michael Hoover (Ben), Gloria Hoover, Kendall Hoover, Kelsey Hoover, and Holly Hoover. Her dogs, who, were like her children: Little Bit, Deanna, Big Boy, and Tiny. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 3pm at JC Green & Sons Funeral Home in Winston-Salem, NC, with Pastor Ron Haines officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 3pm. Burial at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a cancer research organization of your choice.
